A practical beginner's guide to Chimera's visible screens, content workflow, and features that are still under development.
Phase 1: Workspace counts and records are real account data. Generation, forecasting, scheduling, and publishing remain later-phase capabilities.
1. Welcome to Chimera
Chimera is a content intelligence and workflow platform being built for content teams. Phase 1 provides the secure foundation: accounts, brand profiles, content projects, topic ideas, real workspace counts, and administrator oversight.
Note: AI generation, brand scoring, forecasting, scheduling, channel connections, and external publishing are planned for later implementation phases and are not active today.
2. Registration and sign in
- Select Get Started on the home page.
- Enter your name, email, and a strong password.
- After registration, Chimera opens your protected member dashboard.
- Use Logout in the workspace navigation when you finish.
Warning: Never share your password. Administrators cannot view passwords, session tokens, API keys, or infrastructure secrets.
4. Brand profiles
- Open Brands and select Create new.
- Enter the brand name and description.
- Describe the target audience and tone of voice.
- Optionally enter preferred terms and terms to avoid, separated by commas.
- Save the profile. Use Edit to revise it or Delete after confirming.
Warning: A brand used by a project cannot be deleted until the related project is archived or removed. This protects relationship integrity.
5. Content projects
- Create at least one brand profile.
- Open Projects and select Create new.
- Choose your brand, then enter the project name, objective, and target audience.
- Enter intended channels separated by commas and optionally choose a target date.
- Save, edit, safely archive, or delete the project.
Note: Archiving keeps the record while removing it from active project choices.
6. Topic ideas
- IDEA: newly captured.
- PLANNED: accepted for future work.
- DRAFTING: preparation has begun.
- IN_REVIEW: awaiting human review.
- APPROVED or REJECTED: a human decision.
- ARCHIVED: retained but inactive.
- Open Topics and select Create new.
- Choose an active project.
- Enter a title, description, keyword or theme, and content type.
- Choose an appropriate status and save.
7. Human review and responsible AI
Chimera is designed so a person remains accountable for brand fit, facts, claims, quality, approval, and publication. Future AI output must be reviewed rather than treated as authoritative.
Warning: Do not enter secrets, payment details, unnecessary personal data, or content you are not authorized to process.
8. Administrator area
- Administrators can view users, aggregate counts, workflow totals, recent non-sensitive activity, project summaries, and status information.
- Administrators may activate or suspend member accounts.
- Member and administrator permissions are enforced by the API, not only by navigation.
Note: A service that has not been reliably checked is shown as Unknown, never assumed healthy.
9. Later implementation phases
- AI-assisted content generation and brand-alignment scoring
- Performance forecasting
- Human review routing
- Channel connections and scheduling
- External publishing and performance monitoring
Warning: Phase 1 does not perform billable AI operations, connect social accounts, schedule content, or make external publications.
10. Troubleshooting
- If sign-in fails, verify your email and password; the error does not disclose whether an email is registered.
- If a form is rejected, read the validation message and check required fields and length limits.
- If your account is suspended, contact the administrator who manages your Chimera installation.
- If a page continues loading, confirm the gateway and database are available, then retry once.
